Miss World 2011 was the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant, held on November 6, 2011, at Earls Court Two in London, United Kingdom. The pageant was hosted by Angela Chow and Jason Cook, and saw contestants from 122 countries participating for the crown.
Miss Venezuela, Ivian Sarcos, was crowned Miss World 2011, becoming the sixth Venezuelan to win the title. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss World 2010, Alexandria Mills of the United States. Sarcos represented Venezuela with grace and elegance throughout the competition, winning over the judges and audience with her intelligence and beauty.
During her reign as Miss World, Sarcos worked to support various charitable causes, including the Smiling Children Foundation in Colombia and The Red Cross in her home country of Venezuela. She also served as a spokesperson for Venezuela tourism.
